NO MORE NAG SCREEN!
With NavTimer

NavTimer connects between the bike’s wiring harness and GPS.  It allows the bike to continue to supply power to the GPS for 90 minutes after the bike is turned OFF.

First and foremost, it eliminates the need to re-acknowledge the legal disclaimer "nag" message every time you turn the key off and turn it back on. By holding power on the GPS for 90 minutes, it will allow you to virtually ride all day long and stop as many times as you want and only have to acknowledge the nag screen the first time you start the bike in the morning, assuming of course you don't shut it off for more than 90 minutes.

Second, when active, it eliminates the slow boot up time of the GPS, which can be up to 15 seconds on some bikes. The GPS is already booted up, so as soon as you turn on the key, the screen displays the GPS.

Third, if you are navigating a route that has multiple VIA points in it, and have already passed two of them, if you power off the GPS and turn it back on, it will try to re-route you backwards to go pick up the first two VIA points you have already passed. With
NavTimer , the problem is eliminated, and you can continue to navigate a multi-VIA point route even after stopping for gas and the GPS will pick up right where it left off, since it never powered down.

Finally, on the new 09 bikes that have XM Nav Traffic and XM Nav weather, normally when you power off the GPS, it can take between 5-10 minutes before the weather and traffic screens get repopulated with weather and traffic data from the satellite. With
NavTimer, the GPS never looses the data so the weather and traffic data is instantly available after a gas stop without having to wait for another update.

The current drain is minimal and extensive testing has found that after 90 minutes, the battery show minimal loss of voltage.
